JAVA DJAMPIT ESTATE
This Indonesian Island sold its first coffee in Amsterdam in 1712; however in 1877 all of its plantations were wiped out by coffee rust and new tress had to be imported to reestablish production. Today a very small percentage of the coffee production on Java is the high quality arabica bean used in gourmet roasting with a great deal of robusta coffee produced for commercial purposes.
